About the opportunity
This role sits within the Child Trauma Service in Melbourne’s eastern metro region. The program provides high-quality counselling and support to children, young people, their families and care systems through individual, dyadic, family and group work. The service supports children and young people who have experienced sexual abuse, family violence, or who have engaged in harmful sexual behaviour.
Working alongside Aboriginal and other local organisations, this role contributes to coordinated, trauma-informed responses that promote recovery, placement stability and meaningful participation for children and young people.
As a Senior Child and Family Counsellor, you will provide high-quality therapeutic counselling and support to children, young people and their families within a trauma-informed framework.
